Puppy Introductions -
Puppy grooms can begin two weeks after their second set of immunisations. Younger puppies are easier to train so a good early start at the groomers will help with the longer-term grooming. Puppy grooms will introduce them to the grooming experience, during which they will have a soothing bath and a gentle fluff dry and comb out. Depending on how your pet reacts to a face tidy, sanitary, and paw/nail trim included. Prices of puppy grooms vary depending on the breed of dog.
 

Matting Policy -
Here at Woof to Wonderful Dog Grooming we aim to make your pet’s grooming experience as stress-free as possible as per the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

 

Woof to Wonderful may determine that the only humane thing to do is to shave the dog’s coat down; there may be hidden problems under the skin that may need a vet visit such as grass seeds, thorns, or dew claws that have been embedded in the skin due to mats. Matted or neglected fur on dogs requires shorter blades to get under the coat, which can cause minor skin irritation or small grazes on the skin which is an unfortunate hazard of the process. Woof to Wonderful cannot accept any responsibility for this.
